  • Fall Schedule and 311 Week

So I finally got around to registering for my classes this fall. I had to talk to my advisor before they let me sign up for classes (lame) but as it turns out I still got into almost all the classes I wanted and with a good time/schedule too. Only have one class on Monday/Wednesday, Intro to Comp. Programing II, which is sometime in the afternoon, meaning I don’t have to get up early. On Tuesday/Thursday I have Accounting and Math starting at 10am to about 1pm I think. And on Tuesday night I have another Computer Topics class or something like that. And if you haven’t realized by now … I have NO CLASSES on FRIDAY!! Which is awesome for lots of different reasons. Probably the most important of which being I can go to Vermillion on Thursday night to see Sarah! Instead of waiting til Friday. And plus, having a 4 day week makes school so much easier, or so it seemed last semester. Those four classes I mentioned only add up to 12 credit hours, and I would like to / need to take atleast 15. The class I really need to take has ZERO empty seats, which sucks, so hopefully somebody drops it sometime soon. That class is English Comp II, by the way. So hopefully I get in that, and it’s not on a Friday. If not, I will find another class to take, possibly science course or something. Anyways, I’m kinda excited for school again, hehe. Probably more excited about Sarah being within 2 hours though!! :D :D

Speaking of Sarah, she’s coming to see me in like 2 days!! She comes down Monday morning and is staying at my house til Wednesday (I wish it was longer). We are going to the River Riot 05 over in Council Bluffs to see 311 amongst tons of other good bands on Tuesday August 9th. Should be an awesome day, I’ve been really looking forward to some 311 concert goodness. Yay!!! So Sarah leaves on Wednesday, then on Thursday we have our final indoor soccer game, which I think were gonna get wasted before, haha. AND then on Friday, Me, Jeremy, and Rachel (maybe more people?) are driving down to Kansas City to see 311 again!! It’s gonna be such a wonderful week, and a good way to almost end the summer. Yay!! Love you all…

  • Week O’ Stuff

This is just gonna be a quick little journal to let you all know I’m still alive and haven’t got drunk enough (yet) to be thrown in Jail and/or the Hospital. Anyways, after I returned home from South Dakota I’ve been pretty busy and at the same time not busy at all, I’m weird, I know. Let’s see … on Monday (or maybe Tuesday) I went down to Lincoln with my parents to help them …… WAIT!!! …… I almost forgot!! I finished Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince that day!! Such a great book, very sad ending, even though I knew it was coming. Great setup for the 7th and final book in the series, which sadly won’t be out until 2007, but you can count on me reading that one just as quickly. Harry is the coolest!! …… ANYWAYS …… pack my brothers furniture, etc, into a u-haul type truck that they were gonna drive all the way to Boston (where my brother is now working). Parents left on Wednesday afternoon. Thursday night I got invited to come eat dinner at the campbell’s because I was taking Kirsten in there to spend the night. I accepted and afterwards talked with Kaitlin until it was time to go to my soccer game at 10pm. The game was lots of fun, our teams almost got in a fight, lots of yellow/blue cards. And we ended up winning 5-3. :) Friday night I went over to Rachels apartment with Jeremy and bunch of other people. They were drinking, I stayed sober, still had a good time. Saturday morning I went into UNO for the English Placement exam or some such thing, wasn’t too bad. I wrote my essay about the internet, so I think I did pretty good. Saturday night Jeremy and I got some brew (thanks to Nick) and played X-Box at my house. We tried unsuccessfully to get some girls over. Ben and ’some dude’ stopped by instead, not too exciting. But Jeremy and I were plenty drunk to not even care. Good times. Missed church this morning, kept on sleeping, so Jeremy ended up driving my car into work. Finally woke up around 2, just in time for Jeremy to come back. We played a game of NCAA 06, then I took him and his x-box back home. Sat around a while, then decieded (after no-one wanted to come over) that I was gonna go see Zack Hexum at Perk Avenue Cafe. His music is so awesome when he plays it live. Very fun time. He even busted out the Saxophone at the end which was really sweet. Came back home around 11, talked to the lovely Sarah (as I do everynight) and then watched The Shawshank Redemption, which is one of the greatest movies of all time. ( #2 All-Time on the IMDB ) Now I’ve been wasting away my sleeping hours by cruising the internet. It’s now 4:14am and time for me to sleep. Dreaming of August 9th when I get to see 311 and be with Sarah, at the same time!! :D :D
